Lead Pastor
Rev. Chuck Carter moved to Rangely Colorado and became the pastor of First Baptist Church in January, 2023. Born and raised in Florida, Chuck attended the University of South Florida, receiving a bachelor's degree in finance. He then went on to earn a masters degree in theological studies from Liberty Theological Seminary.

Chuck's wife, Megan is a substitute teacher and part time librarian in Rangely. When she isn't working in the community she is busy homeschooling their four children: Nate, Madilyn, Eva, and Lily. The Carter family loves reading, playing board games, and making memories as they travel.
